Tasting notes

  • Nose

    Clean, crisp and refreshing, with ozone and sea-spray-freshness contrasting with pungent peat smoke, leafy herbs and singed lemon zest.

  • Palate

    This is a big whisky, with an intense hit of smoke and pepper to start. As you unpick the palate, it reveals more complexity and softens, with grapefruit and lemon zest mixing with earthy peat smoke and gentle brininess.

    Long and spicy, with black pepper and medicinal peat.
