Islay single malt scotch whisky

While arguments over the influence of the sea on the production of Islay’s whisky still rage, this dram doesn’t care – it’s packed with seaside flavour. Crisp and briney with beach-bonfire smoke and layers of citrus, it’s a classic islander.

  • Nose

Crashing waves, hot leather and freshly sliced breakfast grapefruit with a sprinkling of fragrant flower petals. Rich and smoky peat fires build in the background, adding savoury notes and chocolate.

Powerful peat smoke and spice with lemon, lime and grapefruit zest underneath. Sweetness grows in the glass, with citrus syrup balanced by charcoal ash and stony-beach minerality.
