Before this distillery reopened, its whisky was very different to its current offerings. Br2 continues in Br1’s footsteps, exemplifying this sweet, fruity and oily style. A marriage of a small number of casks from a single production year, the fruity character of the spirit shines through.

Tasting notes

  • Nose

    Lots of fruit, with tropical pineapple, melon and mango mingling with apple, pear and citrus. Soft spice provides balance.

  • Palate

    Rich and fruity, with the pineapple and sharp apple from the nose accompanied by banana, spicy ginger, black pepper and a drizzle of heather honey.

  • Finish

    Long and spicy, fading to leave zesty citrus.
