Cask detailsDistillate from 1992 has been married with some younger vintages from the late 1990s.
NoseCoastal, with sea spray and brine backed up by medicinal smoke and some darker notes – chocolate and leather. Soft spice develops along with menthol and cough drops.
PalateInitially sweet, but quickly overtaken by medicinal smoke and rich tobacco. Damp wood and wet wool notes provide a savoury background, with green chilli spice and freshly cracked pepper.
FinishLong and sweet, with old wood smoke and a touch of menthol.
