Lp2
Islay single malt scotch whisky
Islay’s south coast is exposed to the elements and the three Kildalton distilleries are famed for their maritime whiskies – Lp2 was carefully selected to maximise that. A sniff and a sip transport you to the island, leaving you stood on a beach surrounded by crashing waves.

Coastal, with sea spray and brine backed up by medicinal smoke and some darker notes – chocolate and leather. Soft spice develops along with menthol and cough drops. -
Palate
Initially sweet, but quickly overtaken by medicinal smoke and rich tobacco. Damp wood and wet wool notes provide a savoury background, with green chilli spice and freshly cracked pepper. -
