This bottling is a marriage of two ex-bourbon barrels from Lagavulin distillery, distilled in 2007 and aged for more than 14 years. This dram boasts savoury, meaty smoke, helpings of balancing spice and a floral accent.

Tasting notes

  • Nose

    Initially, maple-smoked bacon appears with heady wood spice. Fresh lilies appear, along with chewy caramel sweets.

  • Palate

    Runny honey marries with barbecued beef jerky. Pastrami seasoning brings some warming spice, accompanied by more floral notes.

  • Finish

    Pleasant smoke carries on for a while, with a touch of clove spice.
