Showcasing the meaty full bodied spirit, Lg6 is made up of mainly 8 year old spirit with a small amount of considerably older refill sherry matured whisky.

Tasting notes

  • Nose

    Classic bacon notes and coal smoke blends with clean, crisp citrus notes of grapefruit and lemon.

  • Palate

    Dense smoke with a robust, almost meaty texture. Aniseed and black pepper combine with sweeter notes of honey-glazed ham, orange peel and marzipan.

  • Finish

    Tarred rope and sooty smoke make for a classic Islay finish.
